After blissfully waking up in Tallahassee (just the mere fact that I awoke elicited this joy), we drove along the gulf to Pensacola. It was just a short break in our driving, but it was quite pleasant.
We met possibly the most stoned-out-of-his-mind clerk I’ve encountered yet, and perused the touristy shops, where I found these two interesting wares:
Shark and surfboard salt and pepper. I thought it was cool.
Plastic alcohol-goblets/sippy-cups. For when you want your beach drinking to be classy… and spill-proof.
Then we walked to the beach and had a glorious breakfast on the sand, looking out at the gulf.
I thought my yogurt/banana/pnb crumbled nature valley bar concoction was pretty clever. And so delicious:)
Breakfast on the Beach~
On our way out we observed this… thing.
Rachael asked if I thought it was maybe a water tower. To which I replied, “Well I surely hope it’s functional art.”
